Did we mentions she has just shy of 33,000 fans on the site and she’s only 16 years of age!

A keen sense of fashion and modeling talent are only a few of Zingmark’s roster of traits — her life is currently consumed with the pursuit of her theatre education. And when fiery redhead manages to find just a hint of spare moments, she can be found walking her pup, creating beautiful paintings, picking berries and mushrooms in the woods, or strumming on her guitar with some pals.

Why did you decide to start a personal fashion blog?
Cause I wanted to inspire everybody out there to dare letting your style shine through, and not take all fashion-rules too seriously. Fashion should be fun! I also wanted to encourage people to buy more second-hand clothes.

How would you describe your personal style?
Retro, playful and mixed — I love playing with shapes and colors to put unexpected looks together.

Alright, spill it — what’s your favorite local vintage shop? How did you discover your treasured gem?
Beyond Retro — it’s like stepping into a paradise of colorful retro clothes. A little bit more expensive than other vintage shops, but it’s definitely worth it, because of all the inspiration you get when you go in there! I found it the first time I went to Stockholm for shopping when I was 13 years-old, and I fell in love right away.

What’s your most coveted piece of vintage? Tell us the story behind it…
My long, blue retro coat. It once belonged to my great-granny, my mother found it when my great-granny died and now It’s my turn to use it! It feels like wearing a little piece of my history.

Any vintage pieces that got away? You saw it, loved it, but didn’t buy it and now wish you had it!?
I once saw the most gorgeous shoes at Beyond Retro, but they were too small. I had a hard time accepting the fact that I just can’t walk around in shoes that makes my feet numb. I wonder who bought them after I had left them on the shelf…

What is your go-to blog, magazine, book, etc. for a quick fix of styling inspiration?
Lookbook.nu! You get the perfect mix of all kinds of styles in one place.

If you could time travel and swap places with any woman in history who you it be? Why did you choose her?
Woah, that’s a really hard question! Well, I’ve always thought that Greta Garbo (1920s) must have had an interesting life!

Are there any trends you’d wish would come back in style?
Maybe the really wide disco pants, like in the Seventies. I’ve always thought they look so cool!

Any trends you hope will never come back?
A thing that I hope never comes back in fashion is the really low-waisted jeans, I find it soo uncomfortable!

What vintage piece are you seeking to add to your Fall wardrobe?
Maybe the perfect enormous, colorful, knitted scarf that would go perfectly together with my coat.

In part, thanks to Marc Jacob’s Fall 2011 Ready-To-Wear and, like ‘em or not, everything old is eventually new again! Polka dots are a whimsical, classic pattern that can be introduced into any gals style this season by adding a perfectly spotted accessory, or draping yourself head-to-toe in a sheer dotted print. If you’re truly craving the polka dots, don’t hold back — just keep layering to create full polka dot ensemble!

Ingredients
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, soft
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup flour

Directions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients (except the flour) together with an electric mixer until combined. Add the flour slowly to the mix on low speed. Do not over mix the flour. Place on cookie sheet using a cookie scooper. Press a fork on top of the dough and make a criss-cross pattern. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remember the cookies will still bake a little when they are taken out of the oven, so don’t overdo them. They taste the best when they are soft and chewy!

Lauren Conrad and her beauty team are sharing their secrets on their new blog — The Beauty Department — including this simple, modern hair tutorial with a hint of vintage style.

Step 1 — Find your side part. Either side will do.

Step 2 through 4 — You’re going to curl ALL of your hair inward toward your face (as Lauren does above) and clip the curls in place with large setting clips. Mist all over with a light-medium holding hairspray. Let them cool while you put on your makeup. Multi-Tasking!! Give it atleast 15 minutes to cool and set.

Step 5 — Gently pull the clips out and let your hair fall.

Step 6 — Using a flat or paddle brush, brush hair back and away from your face and then let it spring back. The wave pattern will automatically start to appear. Keep brushing gently until it shows up. We like to help it along by molding the waves where you want them by hand and then adding one more veil of hairspray.

With well over 9,000 fans in only two months on the fashion social network, Loobook.nu, it’s hard to miss Bazan’s long blonde locks and perpetually evolving shade of lipstick.

As one of twelve candidates, Bazan’s stunning styling and classically beautiful face are sure to present the judges with one tough decision. Enjoy our interview with Kristina…

Why did you decide to start a personal fashion blog?
I have been always fascinated by fashion, culture, art and style. And this passion always grew bigger and bigger with years, a few months ago I discovered the abundance of online fashion communities and how people share their personal creativity and style with the whole world. I fell in love with the concept and created my own blog. Of course my blog didn’t have — at the begining — the same aspects it does today. I was just trying to do some pictures and write some fashion reviews, but with time my blog got more and more personal and it is like my daily fashion diary.

How would you describe your personal style?
I’m really inspired by high-fashion runways. I love the designers creativity and there are always some interesting ideas to pick from. Also, a huge inspiration for me is the whole streetstyle blogosphere. I follow a lot of fashion blogs — they inspire me a lot for my personal fashion style, which is a mix between elegance and a more rock-and-roll chic look.

Alright, spill it — what’s your favorite local vintage shop? How did you discover your treasured gem?
I am a guru of vintage, I have stolen so many clothes from my Mother and Grandmother’s closet. I love to feel the story of vintage garments — some retro Dior sunglasses or an old Yves Saint Laurent purse that were woren by womens in the 70s.

My favourite vintage shop here in Switzerland is Chabada Vintage — they sale so many cool fashion pieces — I have discovered this shop a few years ago while taking a walk in the beautiful streets of Lausanne.

Do you follow any rules when purchasing vintage? Have any vintage shopping tips?
Of course it is always important checking that the product is authentic and is good quality.

If you could time travel, what era would you choose to live in? What do you love about that time period?
I live carpe diem and love the era in which we live. It is full of cultural diversity, people accept more and more different type of style and fashion appearences. Art and fashion grow each day more and more so I definitely don’t want to go back in time, but perhaps travel into the future. Just to have sneak peak of what will be fashionable in a few years.

What’s your most coveted piece of vintage? Tell us the story behind it…
My most cherished vintage item is the old black Chanel chain purse my Mom gave me for my sixteenth birthday – I love it. My Father offered it to her when we lived in America. It was his first trip to New York and he wanted to bring something special to her. There’s nothing better than Chanel to satisfy a woman. She wore this bag for so much years, and I thought that it was an unforgetable gift for my sixteenth anniversary.

Any vintage pieces that got away? You saw it, loved it, but didn’t buy it and now wish you had it!?
Yes, it was in January when I saw these rare Chanel earrings. They were beautiful. Golden with pearls, but unfortunatly, that day I wasn’t in a good shopping mood. And yet, I truly regret that I didn’t get them.

Are there any trends you’d wish would come back in style? Any trends you hope will never come back?
Fashion has such a short life, but comes back so often. This summer, for example, I fell in love with with the retro sunglasses trend. I think that exploring ages and the past to create new fashion concepts is a great way to relive past, present and future of fashion. So, I think all the past trends will come back one day or another.

French designer Louis Reard starts a revolution after debuting the world’s first bikini at a show in Paris. Unable to find a model willing to dawn his creation, he recruits a stripper. He names is barely there ensemble after the American A-bomb test that occurred a week earlier on Bikini Atoll in the Pacific Ocean. I’m not sure if us, women, should be praising Mr. Reard or holding a grudge against him. One thing is true, without him, there would be no mid-drifts stumbling up-and-down coasts during Spring Break and we would’ve avoid ever getting that darn “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” song stuck in our heads.

Next to apple pie, country music and drive-in’s — pin up girls have earned their All-American badge and high marks in American history. Their iconic sex appeal has been painted across the noses of U.S. World War II aircrafts and “pinned up” next to wrenches in mechanic’s garages since their debut in the 1940s. Betty Grable — the most notable pin up girl — made wardrobe malfunctions an adorable pastime. Eat your heart out Britney and Lindsay.

1. Cloth
2. Rust-Oleum spray paint primer
3. Color of your choice Rust-Oleum spray paint with a gloss finish
4. Thrifted candle pillar

Step 1 — Remove any hanging crystals. Clean your thrifted candle pillar with warm, soapy water and allow it to dry completely. Use your cloth to absorb any excess moisture trapped in the little nocks-and-carnies.

Step 2 — Spray one light primer coat and let it dry.

Step 3 — Using thin coats, spray your candle pillar with your color of choice. I chose a soft ivory in a gloss finish to blend seamlessly into my bedroom. Repeat the process about three times until it is coated to perfection.

Step 4 — Now the fun part! Find your new jewelry stand a home and drape it with your treasured vintage necklaces, bracelets and cocktail rings.
